About Us
Joshua Center is a nonprofit counseling center for children, adolescents, and their families going through grief and loss. Joshua Center exists to provide unique support to grieving children and their families as they find hope and healing. Joshua Center’s team is passionate about no child grieving alone. They walk alongside families in some of the hardest times of their lives. Joshua Center staff includes Rachel Long (Executive Director), Dalia Tolle (Director of Operations), Tonya Kidwell (Care Coordinator), Katie Long (Grief Counselor), Emerson Salyers (Grief Counselor), Stephanie Osborne (Resident Grief Counselor), and Maverick Long (Peer Liaison). Their board members include Rachel Long (Founder, President, and Grief Counselor), Jason Long (Board Vice President), Grace Long (Board Secretary), Dr. Jennifer Niemeyer (Board Member), Gabe Long (Board Member), and Ed Sulya (Board Member). Joshua Center’s vision is that every child deserves hope as they are healing from grief and loss. They are seeking to achieve this vision by providing support and grief care for bereaved children and families.
