Their mission is to conserve and enhance our soil, water, and other natural resources by coordinating with local partners to provide technical, financial and educational opportunities in Johnson County.
Soil and Water Conservation Districts benefit communities by:
- Coordinating efforts to improve and protect the quality of our water and soil
- Providing leadership for the wise use of natural resources
- Serving as a clearinghouse for natural resource information
- Providing conservation education to the public
- Improving the quality of life and adding beauty to their communities
