Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer, Sales person and/or Project manager to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces, with expertise in a variety of design software and project management. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovations, remodeling, and lighting design, while collaborating closely with clients and contractors to bring visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client needs and project goals.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using software such as Pro Kitchen or similar.
• Prepare construction documents, drafting specifications, and contracts to facilitate project execution.
• Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors on cabinet, flooring, countertop sales, renovation processes, and remodeling activities.
• Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress and ensure design integrity.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, fixtures, and color schemes based on color theory and current trends.
• Assist in budgeting and project management tasks to deliver successful outcomes within scope.
• Stay current with industry trends in design, CAD drafting, and interior design innovations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in interior design or related field with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam, 3ds Max or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards, CAD techniques, color theory, lighting design principles, and construction processes.
• Knowledge of contracts management and project management methodologies.
• Experience with remodeling projects including renovation planning and construction oversight.
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
