About Us

Katie Gregory, BSN, RN, LMT, brings together the science of nursing, the creativity of art, and the restorative power of touch at Heart, Hands, and Clay Bodywork and Wellness in downtown Franklin. With 15 years of experience as a massage therapist, eight years as a registered nurse, and a bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts from Indiana University, Katie offers a thoughtful, individualized approach to helping clients feel cared for from the crown down.

As the owner of a woman-owned business with a special focus on women’s wellness, Katie creates a welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their self-care. Her practice blends therapeutic, deep tissue, and relaxation massage with specialized services, including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, myofascial release, and Buccal IntraOral massage for facial rejuvenation and jaw tension associated with clenching, grinding, and TMJ dysfunction.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage and lymphatic massage are gentle, applied bodywork techniques designed to support the body’s natural lymphatic pump. These treatments may be used as part of a general wellness routine, to help reduce temporary swelling and water retention, support healthy circulation, and promote comfort for individuals experiencing venous insufficiency or autoimmune-related symptoms. By using light, rhythmic movements, lymphatic bodywork encourages the natural movement of lymphatic fluid and may help the body manage congestion associated with prolonged inactivity, inflammation, medication use, environmental exposures, and other factors that can affect fluid balance.

Many clients seek lymphatic support after experiencing persistent sluggishness, swelling, fluid retention, hormonal changes, or autoimmune flare-ups without a clear explanation for their symptoms. Katie provides a compassionate, individualized approach that complements—not replaces—medical care. She encourages clients to remain in communication with their healthcare providers, particularly when symptoms are new, persistent, or unexplained. Her goal is to help clients feel more comfortable, informed, and connected to their bodies while supporting their personal wellness goals.

Katie’s Buccal IntraOral Facial Facelift protocol combines facial massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial techniques, facial cupping, and Gua Sha for clients seeking a gentle, noninvasive approach to facial rejuvenation. Buccal IntraOral massage may also help relieve tension associated with jaw clenching, grinding, and TMJ dysfunction.

Pregnancy, postpartum, and compassionate care following pregnancy or infant loss hold a special place in Katie’s work. Through her Rose in Heaven Baskets and reduced-cost grief massage offerings, she extends comfort and healing touch to those navigating loss.

Guided by her faith and a commitment to serving others, Katie believes meaningful care begins with listening. Through bodywork, education, and client advocacy, she helps clients make space for rest, reconnect with their bodies, and work toward their personal wellness goals.

Katie is grateful to grow her business and raise her family within the Franklin community. Looking ahead, she hopes to expand her offerings through thoughtfully selected wellness retail, additional therapists, and supportive spaces for women to connect—continuing her mission of bringing heart, skilled hands, and compassionate care to every client.

Heart, Hands, and Clay Wellness and Bodywork shares a beautiful space alongside Terri Lundy owner and Medical Grade Aesthetician in the heart of Downtown Franklin at 197 E Jefferson Street.
