The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to show support for businesses impacted by the ongoing U.S. 31 construction project with a giveaway event.

Starting at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 26, the Chamber will distribute free bags to the first 100 people in line outside of Dairy Queen, located at 480 N. Morton Street in Franklin, as part of its ongoing Support U.S. 31 Campaign. Each bag will include a gift card to a business located along the U.S. 31 construction corridor, encouraging continued support of local businesses during construction.

The event comes as the community continues navigating Phase 3 of INDOT’s U.S. 31 construction project, a major infrastructure improvement effort impacting access and visibility for many local businesses along the corridor. Through its Support U.S. 31 Campaign, the Franklin Chamber of Commerce remains committed to encouraging residents to continue shopping, dining and supporting businesses affected by construction.

The Franklin Chamber launched its Support U.S. 31 Campaign in partnership with the City of Franklin to advocate for businesses navigating the multi-phase construction project. Community members are encouraged to continue visiting and supporting businesses throughout the corridor during construction.
