Clint Sommers
NSK
Clinton is a 1998 graduate of Kokomo High School. After high school, he split the next eight years between Bloomington and Columbus where he met his wife Muffy. After one visit, they fell in love with Franklin and have lived here since 2006.
He has worked at NSK Americas for 15 years and has held various roles from sales to plant leadership. Clinton has a degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University which he completed in 2018. Prior to NSK, Clinton worked as a General Manager for Chili’s and as an Area Manager for Einstein Bros Bagels.
Clinton is a proud, recent graduate of the Leadership Johnson County Signature Class of 2025.
He has four kids. Colin, his oldest, is a barber. Carson and Keira are sophomores in college at Indiana State and UIndy. Cameron is junior at Franklin Community High School. He also has four French bulldogs.
Clinton has coached sports in Franklin at all levels starting with Pre-K soccer all the way up to a two-year stint with the Franklin Community track team from 2023-2025. During which time, his middle son broke the indoor/outdoor men’s pole vault school record. He is commonly referred to in the hallways as “Coach Clint”.
Clinton enjoys all forms of exercise, trips to the beach, football tailgates and date nights with his wife.
