Job Description
Brewer Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced AC Repair Technician to serve homeowners throughout Franklin and surrounding Johnson County communities ahead of peak summer demand.

This role is built for technicians who are strong on cooling systems — diagnosing refrigerant issues, restoring failed air conditioning during high-demand summer periods, and communicating repair options clearly to homeowners who are counting on you.
Technicians on this route serve customers throughout Franklin, Whiteland, Trafalgar, and rural Johnson County neighborhoods, including residential areas near U.S. 31, State Road 44, and the growing communities south of downtown Franklin.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential air conditioning systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and airflow issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections
- Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Represent Brewer Heating & Cooling professionally in customers' homes
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years HVAC service experience required
- Demonstrated experience servicing residential cooling systems
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent customer communication skills
