Position Summary:

Credit Manager:

Responsible for the Bank’s domestic commercial credit analysis and investigation, as well as the development and implementation of prudent credit policies. Oversees integrity of commercial loan portfolio. Maintains oversite of the on-going financial analysis of individual loan accounts. Ensures risk rating are supported by current information. Provides reports to management on Bank’s loan portfolio as outlined in the Credit Administration Policy with recommendations for appropriate risk rating changes. Reviews loan portfolio for compliance with laws and regulations and recommends improvement to lending policies and procedures. Supervises commercial credit administration as necessary. Ensures all aspects of the Credit Administration Policy are followed, including but not limited to portfolio reviews and new credit memorandums. Prepares Credit Administration reports, including SLTV, Portfolio Assessment and Loan Concentrations to the Board on quarterly basis. Cultivates an engaging, supportive, and collaborative relationship with all lending staff. Attends various lending meetings as is applicable.

Credit Analyst:

Assists Commercial Loan Officers in the timely completion of credit requests for existing and prospective commercial customers. Underwrites new and existing business opportunities consistent with the Bank’s Loan Policy by reviewing credit and complex business structures, accurately spreading financial statements to identify and communicating issues regarding the financial statements and other source documents. Prepares financial statement trends, extended ratio analysis, and other analysis to assist in identifying and evaluating the need for migration of credit risk grades. Assists in the early identification and proactive management of deteriorating credit and other problems. Prepares credit approval materials for annual client reviews, ensuring risk ratings are accurate. Verifies borrowing base information. Maintains pipelines to ensure proper tracking of document progress. Prepares monthly reports. Performs collateral audits. Completes constructions inspections. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the Bank’s credit policies and procedures.

Complies with all regulatory compliance issues relative to this position, which may include but not be limited to, BSA, CRA, OFAC, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg CC, and Reg DD.
