OVERVIEW

The ability to optimize production quality, customer service and shop efficiency are the mandatory characteristics of a Spotlight Strategies team member. Spotlight Strategies is a leading provider of PRINT, APPAREL, PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS and SIGNS in the Central Indiana area. 

POSITION

Spotlight Strategies is seeking a full-time teammate to lead production in our apparel decoration department which includes embroidery, heat press and screen printing. Candidate must have excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time is critical. Prior experience in operating embroidery machine(s) or screen print machine(s) is mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customer Service of all lines of business (in-take orders via phone, Email and walk-ins / quoting / sourcing product / order management / consulting / customer meetings)
• Graphic Design (original design / recreation / forms / books / creative / efficient)
• Production and job management (printing / purchasing / bindery / receiving / shipping / vendor relations
• Social media creating and posting content (text, video, graphics) and management on platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Specifications

• Active knowledge and operation of 1) commercial embroidery equipment 2) and/or Automatic Screen Print Press.
• Maintenance of apparel decorating equipment
• Attention to detail (i.e. spelling, typos), critical thinking
• Ability to work in a fast pace, team-oriented, deadline driven environment
• Ability to reconcile purchase orders and packing slips
• Ability to utilize and learn multiple software programs (ie. Pulse (embroidery machine software), UPS, Onsite, Screen Print software)
• Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lbs , Standing 8 Hours/Day

• Onsite / UPS / Pulse
• Ability to learn Industry specific workflow software
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook) - helpful
• Windows 7
• Internet Explorer

Hours/Benefits

• Full-time position 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.
