The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is seeking quotes to renovate the second floor of our historic building in the heart of downtown Franklin. We are located at 120 E. Jefferson Street. The objective is to make the approximately 1,300 square foot unfinished second floor usable as a conference room for large meetings that can also be configured to allow the space to be used for educational and training purposes. It is important to keep the space flexible to allow for other potential uses, such as small offices using mobile walls.
The scope of work will include the following:
Add electricity, data, and lighting
Add HVAC (independent unit)
Add a large storage closet
Add unisex restroom
Add kitchenette (similar in size to the downstairs kitchenette)
Commercial grade carpeting throughout
Drywall or exposed brick walls
Paint interior walls
Replace boarded window
Contractors are required to visit the proposed project prior to submitting the quote. To minimize disruption to the Chamber’s schedule, visits are by appointment only. Contact the Chamber at 317.736.6334 to schedule a visit to look at the space. Quotes need to include conceptual drawings in order to help clarify the scope of work and details being quoted. No furniture should be included in the quote. Quotes will be reviewed by the Chamber Board of Directors and will be selected by price, conceptual drawings and project timeline/completion date with special consideration given to Franklin Chamber members. Quotes must be submitted by March 18th.
