Manufacturing Day

Posted by: Franklin Chamber of Commerce  | Friday, August 9, 2019

In support of the nation wide initiative to educate students on careers in manufacturing, the Franklin Chamber and Franklin Community High School are hosting a manufacturing career fair for students on Friday, October 4 from 9:00-1:00 at Franklin Community High School. The goal is to highlight careers in manufacturing, engineering and logistics. Local manufacturers are invited to set up an informational table/display designed to expose students to careers in these areas. The event will coincide with National Manufacturing Day; held annually on the first Friday in October. Manufacturing Day highlights the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging companies and educational institutions around the nation to participate. Manufacturers who wish to participate should contact the Chamber office. Manufacturers and distribution centers are asked to contact Rosie Chambers if they would like to participate. rchambers@franklincoc.org or 317-736-6334.
