The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the selection of a new Executive Director. Rosemary (Rosie) Chambers, has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce.
Chambers' experience with the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, relationships with Chamber members and business leaders, and her passion for her work and community will undoubtedly be an asset to the members of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce as well as the Johnson County community.
Chambers has been employed by the Franklin Chamber for the past five years, and has served as Assistant Director since 2014. She was instrumental in launching the Small Business Saturday efforts for the Chamber, and she leads the successful ambassador program for the Chamber.
"I am passionate about my community and excited to continue the quality of life and economic development initiatives of the Chamber," said Chambers.
Chambers has completed the ICEA Hoosier Chamber Academy for chamber professionals and is a graduate of Leadership Johnson County class of 2015. She serves as a member of Discover Downtown Franklin's Board of Directors and is active on its economic vitality committee and promotions committee. She also serves on the steering committee for 100 Women Who Care of Johnson County. She is active with Leadership Johnson County, Aspire Johnson County, and is an 18 year member of the Zeta Chapter of Tri Kappa where she has served as an officer and committee chairperson.
Rosie and her husband John reside in their adopted hometown of Franklin where they have raised their three sons.
