Kim grew up in a suburb of Detroit, MI until she moved with her family to Franklin in 1990. She is a 1994 graduate of Franklin Community High School and attended Franklin College and Ivy Tech Community College before beginning employment at Mutual Savings Bank where she previously worked for 20 years.
In addition to serving on the Chamber Board, Kim is also a board member for Girls Inc. of Johnson County as well as a member of Discover Downtown Franklin's Economic Vitality Committee, Leadership Johnson County Class of 2017, team leader for Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County's Women Build as well as a committee member for Habitat's Soup Bowl event, 2017 participant of Dancing with the Johnson County Stars representing Human Services and a member of 100+ Women Who Care.
Kim resides in Bargersville where she enjoys quality time with her husband, Chris and daughter, Sara.
